1969 was the year when an England touring side last returned home from the West Indies with a series victory under its belt. 35 years on and a strong, bullish English side, captained by Yorkshire's Michael Vaughan, were ready to take the Caribbean by storm.

All four test matches are covered in-depth and what brilliant memories are served up! The first test in Jamaica saw an astonishing spell of bowling by Durham's Steve Harmison, taking 7 for 12 in dismissing the home side for just 47 runs to put the tourists 1-0 ahead. This became 2-0 with another comprehensive win in Trinidad, with key contributions from Harmison, Steve Jones and Mark Butcher. A Graham Thorpe century helped to clinch the series in Barbados, ably supported by hat trick hero Matthew Hoggard and Andrew Flintoff with the ball. Despite England's ordinary 3-0 win, the series will be as much remembered for what occurred in the fourth and final test, when Brian Lara smashed the record books and the England attack around, to score a phenomenal 400 not out.
