Andrew Flintoff was born on 6th December 1977, in Preston. He is also widely known as 'Freddie' Flintoff.
Flintoff captained the England Under 19 team on their tour of Pakistan in 1996/97 as well as at home the following Summer against Zimbabwe. His full England Test debut came in 1998 against South Africa at Trent Bridge.
Thanks to the success of this great England all rounder, a number of Andrew Flintoff books and DVDs are available for cricket fans to enjoy.

Unfortunately, Flintoff began to suffer problems with his back, weight, and fitness and motivation in general, and by 2001 was playing in the Lancashire second XI. After a spell with the Rodney Marsh ECB Academy, Flintoff returned better than ever.
Flintoff's greatest cricket season (to date) was undoubtedly the 2005 Ashes Series. He helped secure England's two run victory at Edgbaston and followed this up with his maiden Ashes century at Trent Bridge. At the end of 2005 Freddie was named the BBC Sports Personality of the Year as well as being awarded the MBE.
Freddie's great achievements with both bat and ball have been well documented and are available for all cricket fans to enjoy on DVD from skysportsdvdshop.co.uk.
