In 1880 St Marks (West Gorton) were formed, and seven years later changed their name to Ardwick AFC. In 1894 the club changed name again, this time to the famous Manchester City Football Club that we know today.

Man City Cup Success

Manchester City have won all the main domestic honours in English Football, including the First and Second Division titles, the FA Cup and League Cup, as well as the European Cup Winners' Cup.

Manchester City now play their games at the City of Manchester Stadium after moving from Maine Road at the end of the 2002/03 season.

The fans of Manchester City are recognised as a highly loyal bunch especially when considering the fluctuations in performances and achievements on the football pitch.
