There can be no supporters in the country that have a passion and love for the game like those of Sunderland Football Club. This special DVD, "Wear on Our Way", celebrates another of the Black Cats' memorable seasons with promotion back to the top flight of English football in 2005.

Following relegation from the Premier League in 2003, the next two years were a transitional period for the club, as Sunderland strived to take its rightful place back in the top division. With ex-Ireland Manager Mick McCarthy at the helm and a deluge of new signings coming to the club in the transfer window, expectations were high for the 2004 / 2005 campaign.

It is often said that the newly-formed Championship is the hardest league to get out of. That certainly looked the case for Sunderland in 2004 / 2005, as they struggled in the early part of the season, with new players failing to find their best form. But a month or so in to the campaign, the likes of Carl Robinson, Julia Arca, Stephen Elliott and Liam Lawrence began to make their mark and the men in red and white stripes commenced their ascent up the table. At Easter 2005, they hit the top spot thanks to a superb defence marshalled by Gary Breen and George McCartney and eventually ran out league champions by seven points from runners-up Wigan Athletic.

Watch every single goal from this historic year for Sunderland on this first ever 'End-of-season' DVD collector's item.
