Description

Few clubs can boast a history as rich and dramatic as that of Wolverhampton Wanderers. Now, for the first time on DVD, the official history, spanning 130 years or so, of Wolves is brought to life.

From incredible footage of the club's 1921 FA Cup final appearance through the 1949-1960 glory years to the exciting cup-fighting days of the 1970s, then the nosedive towards oblivion and the return journey that culminated in Play-Off Final glory and the Premiership adventure, this three hours or so of viewing will captivate Wolves supporters of all ages.

There's a special exclusive look at the games that Billy Wright described as his finest in a Wolves shirt, also at he and his team mates at leisure in Russia in 1955, Molineux's great floodlit nights including the European Cup visit of Barcelona, the Charity Shield, the club's run to the 1960 FA Cup Final including wins over Leicester and Aston Villa, interviews with Stan Cullis and Billy Wright, Derek Dougan's hat trick on his Wolves home debut, and the notorious early 1970's battles against Leeds and Tottenham.

During the compiling of this DVD more than 25 interviews were conducted, including lengthy sessions with some of the club's greats: Bert Williams, Jimmy Dunn, Roy Swinbourne, Ron Flowers, Eddie Stuart, Bill Slater, Malcolm Finlayson, Bobby Thomson, Dave Wagstaffe, John Holsgrove, Mike Bailey, John Richards and Andy Gray.

For all fans of Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club, this DVD really is an essential addition to your collection. Order now from skysportsdvdshop.co.uk.
