David Leadbetter is a world renowned golf coach. He was born in England and originally played on the European and South African Tours, but enjoyed little success as a player.
However, Leadbetter had a wonderful appreciation of the mechanics and subtleties of the golf swing, as well as an understanding of the psychological side of the game of the golf. This talent enabled Leadbetter to establish himself as a golf coach.
Thanks to an extensive range of golf coaching books and DVDs, amateur golfers can take advantage of this great golf trainer's expertise.
Expert Golf Coaching DVDs & Books
Leadbetter's first major golf coaching triumph came in the 1980s when he rebuilt the swing of Nick Faldo. In turn this led to Faldo becoming the leading golfer in the world at that time, winning six major championships. David Leadbetter has also coached Ernie Els and Michelle Wie.
Fortunately for us amateur golfers, David Leadbetter has imparted a vast quantity of his golfing tips and techniques onto DVDs and in books, enabling us to learn and improve our own game.
David Leadbetter now has several eponymous golf academies and focuses a great deal of his time on teaching tour professionals and passing on his own skills and techniques to other golf coaches.
