Intro (1 minute duration)
A brief upbeat overview of the programmes format aimed to enable the consumer to reap maximum benefits from the DVD.

Tutorial (10-minute duration)
This section is used to 'coach' the viewer on key teaching points for all exercises included in the workout. This is so you do not have to listen to the same teaching points in methodical detail every time you repeat the programme and rather enjoy a more flowing exercise experience ongoing as you become familiar with the routine.

Warm-up (10-minute duration)
If you need high energy and enthusiasm to get you moving – you have it right here. The warm-up is a challenging, yet not overwhelming, introduction to the programme combining energetic, yet low-impact, dance moves broken down into an easy-to-follow routine. Work up a satisfying sweat during this energetic and motivating warm-up designed to ‘up’ your calorie- burning engine.

Workout (40-minute duration)
A fun and effective exercise programme packed full of all the motivation, information and expert advice you need to really take control of your figure and sculpt a new bikini body. This easy-to-follow workout is made up of four 10-minute sections, (Legs, Bums, Tums and Arms). You can do one routine and target the areas you feel you want to focus on more or use all four, in any order you choose and work at your own pace, it’s entirely up to you. Just select the routine or routines you want to work on and press play. It’s really as simple as that!

Cool-down (10-minute duration)
Pure and simple describes the cool down perfectly, as you enjoy an invigorating, yet relaxing, full-body stretch, slowly working your muscles through a balanced blend of poses concentrating on postural alignment and breathing to return the body to its normal state post workout.

The DVD’s workout contains a motivating soundtrack and vigorous but low-impact dance moves interspersed with easy-to-follow spot toning exercises to help tighten, flatten, tone and generally improve all those less than perfect areas. Filmed on location, with a beautiful white sand and ocean backdrop, international fitness presenter Jackie Diss guides you through the routine offering a great balance between just enough reps for intensity and just enough variety to distract you from how hard you are actually working.

What’s so good about the Beach Bum Workout DVD is that it isn’t necessary to do the whole routine in its entirety to achieve the required results. The format is modular, meaning that you can mix and match the routines according to your fitness level, goals, time availability and even ‘your mood’ on the day. For example, if there is only a short time available and the main concern is an expanding waist and bulging stomach, it makes sense to simply skip straight to the ‘Tums’ segment - always remembering of course to allow time for the warm up and cool down.

The routine incorporates lots of different spot toning exercises to shape the body, periods of active calorie burning with cardiovascular choreography and phases of recovery carefully stretching the muscles that have just been worked. Some of the exercises will be familiar, whilst others are cutting edge and have been specifically included to reach core areas of the target areas many will not even know exist! Jackie clearly indicates when the end of each 10 minute spot toning modular is reached, as the music changes seamlessly to provide a feeling of continuity whilst also giving a different tone and mood to each new phase.

Throughout the warm-up, workout and cool down Jackie is joined by two team members, one doing low intensity options, the other doing higher intensity variations of all the exercises involved in the workout. This means you can join in no matter what your fitness level and also progress the intensity of the exercises, but only when you are ready…

All exercises included are comprehensively demonstrated and explained to ensure optimum results are obtained. They are designed to be very flexible, user-friendly and can be done within a minimal space in front of the TV.
