"Ronnie's Snooker Hotshots" is a superb collection of some of snooker's most memorable moments, including the best ever 147 breaks.
Ronnie O'Sullivan is probably the most naturally gifted snooker player to ever pick up a cue. Who knows, with a bit of application, he could even win the World title left-handed as well as right! This excellently collated DVD looks at 6 amazing 147 breaks from the world's top players, along with some famous near misses and Ronnie's top 10 players of all time.
Going back a quarter of a century and the first ever televised 147, this is a nostalgic and hugely entertaining ensemble of snooker action. Steve Davis was the man who put the maximum on the map in 1982 against John Spencer. This remarkable feat was followed a year later, albeit somewhat slowly, by Cliff Thorburn. Kirk Stevens joined the party with a much more vagant clearance in 1984 and his opponent that day Jimmy White added to the list himself in 1992. Completing the elite group in the 1990s were Stephen Hendry and the presenter Ronnie O'Sullivan. Far more heart-breaking but equally entertaining are the tragic near misses, particularly that of Irishman Ken Doherty, who missed a simple black to end on 140. Finally on this DVD, Ronnie runs down his list of top snooker players ever - an all-encompassing ball-fest!
Fans of snooker will love this collection of the good, bad and ugly from the last 25 years of the ever-popular sport, hosted by the genius, Ronnie O'Sullivan.
