In the semi finals St Helens hosted Huddersfield in what was the final ever match at Knowsley Road, whilst Leeds played Wigan in the other semi - would it be Leeds vs St Helens in the Grand Final for the fourth consecutive year?
As it turned out St Helens defeated Huddersfield by 42-22 and Wigan won at Leeds by 26-6. And so the 2010 Super League Grand Final was between St Helens and Wigan, the top two teams of Super League XV. Wigan were quick on the offensive and established an early lead which ultimately led to a superb 22-10 victory. Wigan Warriors were deservedly the 2010 Grand Final Champions.
