Leeds and St Helens contested the Super League XIV Grand Final at a packed Old Trafford for a third consecutive year, but that only tells part of the story of an ever-increasingly competitive competition.
Huddersfield, Hull KR and Wakefield all enjoyed hugely successful campaigns, finishing the regular season above big spending Wigan and Warrington, although the latter walked away with the Challenge Cup and the Warriors were pipped to a Grand Final spot by the narrowest of margins. Catalans again surpised everyone, Castleford continued their on-going improvement under Terry Matterson and although ultimately a tough baptism, there was another first for Super League with Celtic Crusaders becoming the first Welsh club to compete amongst rugby league's elite. The second DVD contains the whole of the pulsating Grand Final between the Rhinos and Saints including all the post match celebrations and interviews from a fantastic night in Manchester. It was Saturday 10th October 2009, at Old Trafford in front of 63,259 fans, and Leeds Rhinos secured an unprecendented hat trick of Engage Super League Grand Final titles with an 18-10 victory over St Helens.
