Munster - Champions of Europe on DVD is a superb DVD which charts Munster's progress through the 2008 Heineken Cup, up to and including that incredible final at the Millennium Stadium, on 24th May 2008, as well as the jubilant scenes in Limerick as the team were given a heroes welcome upon their return home.
Munster had been grouped alongside London Wasps, Clermont Auvergne and Llanelli Scarlets in the so called ‘Pool of Death.’ They were down and out until a late bonus point in France dramatically made all the difference.
Munster were crowned 2008 Heineken Cup champions on 24th May in front of 74,500 fans at the Millennium Stadium, after defeating Toulouse by 16-13, with the points coming from Ronan O'Gara and Denis Leamy. This had followed a truly heroic group and knock-out campaign, and all the highlights are captured on this DVD.
In the knock out stages they had to win at Gloucester, Saracens and finally in Cardiff against the triple Heineken Cup champions, Toulouse. Munster’s victory over Toulouse to become 2008 Champions of Europe for the second time confirmed their position in the pantheon of truly great sides. Only three others have won it twice.

It has all the highlights from the key games, exclusive interviews and behind the scenes footage including the incredible celebrations in Limerick as the fans welcomed home their heroes.
