This is the whole of that famous Rugby Union game from 1973, Barbarians v All Blacks, on DVD. It was 27th January and the All Blacks were undefeated against the Home Nations on their 1973 tour, and so to Cardiff Arms Park for the crunch game against the Barbarians. It turned out to be a classic, a game of rugby which is still talked about today, and the game that featured that try.

"...Kirkpatrick to Williams. This great stuff. Phil Bennett covering, chased by Alistair Scown. Brilliant! Oh, that's brilliant! John Williams, Pullin, John Dawes. Great dummy! David, Tom David, the half-way line. Brilliant by Quinnell. This is Gareth Edwards. A dramatic start. What a score!" - Cliff Morgan announcing Gareth Edwards' fourth minute try.

This DVD brings you the full match between the Barbarians and the All Blacks, regarded by many as the finest rugby union match ever televised.

The Barbarians team displayed an admirable commitment to that brand of open, attacking rugby which has come to be associated with Barbarian sides over the years. The tone of the whole match being famously set by that Gareth Edwards' try in the fourth minute - which must rank as one of the best ever. This, together with some equally exciting play from an All Blacks team with outstanding players such as Going, Batty and Williams, made for a spectacular game in which one thrill followed another.

Final score: Barbarians 23-11 All Blacks
