Fulham Football Club was founded in 1879, and is in fact London's oldest full-time professional football club (Leyton Football Club was founded in 1868 and is London's oldest senior football club, thank you Derwent). Fulham have played their home games at Craven Cottage since 1896 and, after playing in the Southern League, played their first ever League game in 1907.
Fulham's FA Cup Glory
In the 1970s, under Alec Stock, Fulham underwent a period of 'big name' signings including England internationals Bobby Moore and Alan Mullery, and in 1975 reached the FA Cup Final for the first time in their history. Bobby Moore famously led Fulham out at Wembley against his former club West Ham United. Then, in the 1976/77 season, Fulham managed to secure the services of George Best and, teaming up with Rodney Marsh, it was a memorable and entertaining season.
Despite playing in the Premier League, Fulham are still regarded as a relatively small club with a matching fan base. As such, there are rarely many Fulham Football Club DVDs released.
